Adoption-Oriented Cat Café "Dear Cats"
A moment to unwind in the city.
Located in Asagayaminami, rescue cat cafe Haikei Nekosama offers a warm, homey setting to unwind on floor cushions alongside relaxed felines, complete with self-serve drinks.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Blended seamlessly into the neighborhood of Asagayaminami, Haikei Nekosama (拝啓ねこ様) is a welcoming cat cafe where rescued felines live in an unhurried, home-like environment. The compact interior is arranged with zabuton floor cushions, allowing visitors to settle in at eye level with the cats in a space that feels just like a private home. Guests can watch the cats pad leisurely along high catwalks near the ceiling or gently pet those that wander over and settle comfortably onto an open lap.
A selection of complimentary self-serve drinks, including barley tea and juice, is provided along with cup holders so you can sip comfortably at your leisure. Because the cafe does not sell extra cat treats, the animals never crowd around seeking food; instead, visitors can calmly observe them playing with toys or napping at their own gentle pace. Staff are also on hand to explain each cat's distinct personality and preferred ways to pet them, making it easy to interact with confidence.
Because seating is limited in this intimate cafe, making a reservation in advance can offer greater peace of mind. Visitors are required to wear socks inside, and thoughtful guidelines are provided to ensure the safety and well-being of the cats. A small collection of charming cat-themed goods and snacks is also available, offering a sweet reminder to take home after a peaceful visit.
